SBS offers very high adhesiveness and processability; less tackiness; high viscosity, good transparency, and high tensile strength; and excellent low temperature properties. It is well-suited for comparable blending with olefinic resins as well as for impact/toughness modifier of styrenics in use of adhesives. Its various applications include ordinary household items such as hygiene adhesives and packaging.

  • High adhesiveness
  • High viscosity
  • High transparency
  • High tensile strength
  • Good processability
  • Excellent low temperature properties

TSRC corporation (formerly Taiwan Synthetic Rubber) was established in 1973 as part of the governmental policies aimed at developing Taiwan’s petrochemical industry.
TSRC corporation, a synthetic rubber manufacturer in Taiwan also produces thermoplastic styrenics elastomer (TPS) which has been showing a rapid growth in global markets, including not only in Asia, but also in the North America and Europe.
The total production capacity of TSRC’s TPS is 151, 000 tons, which are produced in plants including Nantong plant, China; Kaohsiung plant, Taiwan; and Plaquemine plant, the United States. The following are the breakdown of the total capacity: 36,000 tons of styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS); 57,000 tons of styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS); 58,000 tons of styrene-ethylene butylene styrene-block copolymer (SEBS).
All production plants of TSRC have acquired the international certifications of QC080000 (a quality control system for hazardous chemical substance process management specified in ISO9001) and ISO50001.
We have been selling synthetic rubber and thermoplastic styrenics elastomer for the Japanese market and overseas Japanese companies for over ten years.
